About project
The project was created for the website reddingsbrigade-petten.nl, which provides information about weather conditions for wind and kitesurfers at the beach in Petten in the Netherlands.
Technical solution
The AXIS Q6115-E IP camera was selected for live transmission. The camera can get an excellent image despite poor weather and light conditions. Using the property controlling the camera’s PTZ position, we can achieve a broad view of the beach. The CamStreamer app transmits the stream uninterrupted 24/7 at the resolution 1080p in bitrate 6Mbs; therefore, the YouTube Live streaming platform, supporting the uninterrupted stream, was selected.
Conclusion
It is a project that has become an information source for visitors and provides the viewers with attractions and live events in an attractive way.
